Admissions and Participation

Students interested in computational chemistry can engage with CCMSI through research experiences, workshops, and graduate study. Applications are evaluated on motivation, foundational knowledge, and readiness to work in a collaborative environment committed to transparent science. Prospective participants should describe their interests, prior coursework or projects, and goals for training. Admission to specific programs may depend on resource availability and alignment with ongoing projects.

Participants agree to uphold Center standards: careful documentation, respect for licensing and data-use agreements, and timely communication. We provide onboarding materials—style guides for inputs and notebooks, templates for lab-book entries, and checklists for reproducibility—so that newcomers can integrate efficiently into active teams. Questions are welcomed at every stage; early clarification is encouraged to minimize rework and ensure shared understanding of objectives and constraints.
